The "WASA Spirit"
As an organization, Western Alternative Sports Association is dedicated to bringing the best in alternative sports to the Denver metro area, while assuring a fun, social atmosphere for all participants. WASA is people of all shapes, sizes and abilities, just looking to have a great time! Every WASA league and event is governed by what we call the "WASA Spirit". Our organizaton is founded on the principle that adults can participate in sports purely for fun, recreation, and socialization... the way we did when we were kids. We believe that winning should be secondary to having a great time, and that it is the responsibility of EVERY WASA participant to do everything in their power to make sure that their opponents have a great time as well. All of our league rules and activities are structured with this guiding principle in mind.
